Our Candela Medical GentleMax Pro delivers a full skin rejuvenation therapy. The Alexandrite laser targets melanin, removing/reducing pigmented lesions, sun spots and freckles. The laser also stimulates collagen to improve skin quality and tighten pores.

Collagen is a protein that provides structure to most of your body. It keeps your skin and connective tissue strong.

The growth of collagen, elastin, and melanin can all be stimulated through laser therapy. The laser triggers a natural response under the skin, jump starting the regenerative process that produces fresh, new collagen. This improves the appearance of wrinkles, texture and crepe-iness.

Body Contouring

We now offer an effective solution for the contouring and tightening of the body and face. Our new Reform technology from Alma Beauty is the latest in dermal treatments for a variety of skin types.

Its patented UniPolarTM technology uses dielectric heating via a RF frequency, sending 40.68 million transmissions per second to the tissue. This type of focused and powerful heating enables deep and effective dermal heating without causing discomfort.

Sun spots, pigmented lesions & hyper pigmentation

We also offer effective treatment for unwanted sun spots and pigmented lesions with more accuracy and control than other treatments.

Our GentleLase series lasers have the ability to deliver different laser forms, appropriate for the various types of lesions. It allows us to create a bespoke treatment plan based on the depth and colour of your treatment area.

Whilst we may not be able to completely remove the pigmentation in every case, significant permanent lightening of the spot is achievable.

Everybody is different so your results will depend on your skin type, pigmentation, and the area on the body being treated.

The ideal skin for sunspot reduction is a fair skinned. Patients with darker skin tones may be treated, but there is a higher risk of skin discolouration. Winter is the best time for this treatment as tanned skin is unsuitable.

Melasma/Chloasma

Our highly trained clinicians can also help create a bespoke treatment plan for Melasma/Chloasma.

Melasma is a mixed dermal (deep) and epidermal (superficial) form of skin pigmentation meaning the skin develops darker areas, predominantly on the face. There can be many causes for Melasma including sun exposure, age, hormone changes and pregnancy.

Because the pigmentation develops through multiple layers of the skin, effective treatment of Melasma has previously been difficult to achieve. With our latest Candela - AlexTrivantage Q switch laser technology, we now have the ability to deliver different laser forms, appropriate for the various types of lesions at various depths. Our clinicians will work with you to create a treatment plan individual to your needs.

This treatment is virtually painless and only a slight warmth will be felt. After your treatment, you will notice the surrounding skin will look slightly pink and the treated lesion may appear darker but the redness will subside within 2 - 4 hours.

If your treatment requires down time, slight redness may remain for a few days (3 - 5 days). It can easily be covered with makeup. Melasma has a tendency to recur with excess sun exposure so a quality SPF sun block is a good idea to maintain your results.

Spider veins/ broken capillaries/ vessels/ Telangiectasia

Our Candela Medical GentleMax Pro offers a reduction/removal of unwanted superficial vessels. The YAG laser targets the vessel causing vasoconstriction and flushing of the vessel.

Treating unwanted spider veins on the face, chest or legs is simple and effective. Between 1 - 4 treatments is usually all it takes to get the clear complexion or smooth look you’re after.

The treatment is safe and best done in winter when the skin is not tanned. You will also need to rest for 48hrs post treatment to allow the vessel to cool and heal.
